You are invited to submit a product for the Non*Mart Shop.

We are seeking artists/producers with an interest in exploring an alternative means of consumerism to create a piece or multiple pieces to be included in our trade-based shop. To be considered, your piece must be made (in part or whole) of post-consumer waste and/or address ideas of consumerism, waste, and the ramifications of our consumer culture.
As artists, you know firsthand the trials of living and working outside accepted modes of earning and spending. Non*Mart gives you an opportunity to explore an alternative means of exchange that emphasizes a more personal engagement between buyer and seller.
Submit your work to be included in
Non*Mart's trade binder...

Non*Mart is excited to share some fantastic projects with you opening night. In addition to the 10+ artists we are able to showcase in the gallery, we are compiling a a trade-binder, a catalog of items and services up for trade. The trade binder will be prominently displayed at Non*Mart at the opening reception and through the run of the show. This trade-binder will include more projects, services, skill shares and hopefully you! How do I get in the trade binder? It's easy.
Just download and fill out the tradesheet PDF and follow the instructions on how to drop in a picture.
Check out the sample PDF for some more guidance. Save your PDF with your name and send it back to us at: submissions@nonmart.com Don't think you have anything decent to trade?
One Non*Mart member received a 4-man tent for a gift bag full of hair! A batch of cookies could get you 30 minutes of smart-phone instruction. A pie might get you an hour of web-site advice. The Non*Mart trade-binder will be an exhibition catalog, a community resource, and a testament to all the individuals who feel a more relational economy can empower us and make us collectively stronger. Your contact information will not be shared. Non*Mart will contact you by email when you have a trade request. Then you can choose to contact the potential trade partner for further negotiations.
